TRIBUTOSAURUS AT BROOKFIELD ZOO
It's the 75th Anniversary of Brookfield Zoo, and they've asked us to come and put on a show to celebrate! This will be a rare "mixed bag" show, and it'll be totally family friendly. You'll hear songs from many of our most memorable shows in the months and years past, and we'll be joined by a bunch of our favorite guests to make it all come together.

Tributo will be playing in front of the Safari Grill on the East Mall at 1:30PM, so bring the kids out and have some fun! You can get more info at the Brookfield Zoo website, >>HERE<<.

With July being such busy month, we thought we'd take the opportunity to reprise a couple of our favorites for you, and it all starts on the 1st...

The 80s mean a lot of things to a lot of people...rolled up blazer sleeves, rising sun headbands, pastel colors, and of course - New Wave music. And no band was more successful in creating the music of that genre than The Cars! Their combination of punk, art rock, and power pop was truly unique, and their infectious songwriting and catchy hooks make them one of the most memorable bands of the era. Biting guitars and iconic synthesizer textures surround Rik Ocasek's quirky rockabilly-esque vocal over beats that just make you want to dance, dance, dance!

We will be reprising most of our original set from April 2003, but we'll be adding a few notable omissions too... We will be only playing ONE SHOW due to our commitments earlier in the day, and we expect that it'll sell out fast, so get you tickets now!

...AND ON THE FOURTH OF JULY...

Every year, we take a trip down to Berwyn and join in the fun at the Fitzgerald's American Music Festival by covering a great American artist. This year we've decided to pull out all the stops and revisit a true icon of American music, and Americana in general -
Elvis Presley!

18 number 1 hits - countless top 40 hits -a career that reached people of all ages, and spanned multiple styles! Elvis brought rock and roll to Hollywood, and introduced the genre to a generation of fans. He brought censorship on TV to the forefront with his appearance on Ed Sullivan. He showed America the ugly side of superstardom and drug abuse. His death has been debated for years. However you remember him, the man is a legend.

When we featured Elvis as our Titan last year, we left it all on the court - from the very early Sun Sessions, to the 16 minute movie medley, to the Las Vegas extravaganzas - we paid a king size tribute to the King, and it was so much fun that we're bringing it out to Fitzgerald's! We will be joined by a ton of guests, and it should shape up to be a 4th to remember!
