Chris Neville - keyboards, vocals
In a small underground laboratory in England, during the summer of 1942, a group of allied scientists attempted to perfect the ultimate fighting machine - a "Super-Soldier", if you will. It was here that Chris Neville came into being. Though their efforts were intense, and they were some of the best minds in the free world, the project was terminated after the subjects produced were lovers, not fighters.
After being released into the wild, Chris eventually found his way to America, where he lives to this day. No longer interested in the machinery of war, Chris turned his attention to Music. He studied under the great Albanian composer, Javier Holczecht, for 28 years until he realized that there was little future in Albanian music.
During the 1970's, Chris bounced around from disco to disco until finally Hamilton Jordan took him aside and suggested he should try the funk and rock scenes. Jordan suggested this in an effort to get Chris out of his house, which he had been 'crashing at' for 13 weeks.
Striking out on his own once again, Chris soon fell prey to the rampant drug culture of the late 70's and early 80's. Little is known about this period of his life, but it is suspected that he appeared on several A-Ha albums during these years, and may have lived with ABBA star Björn Ulvaeus.
The 90's brought peace to Neville's life, and he spent most of the time playing on the Champaign and Chicago scenes with a wide variety of bands, in many different styles.
Chris now splits his musical time between Tributosaurus, The Pocket, Brother Brother, and intensive therapy. He wouldn't have it any other way.
