Tom Petty This Friday, August 17, at the Beverly Art Center...
and on the 24th at Skokie's Backlot Bash

This summer, we wanted to make sure to pay tribute to one of our all time favorites - an American legend, and one of the great rock and roll songwriters of all time - Tom Petty.

Twangy guitars over rich organ beds, driven by rock solid bass and drums are the sound that catapulted Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers into the spotlight, but it was the evocative lyrics and strong melodies that kept them there. And as Tom moved into his own spotlight, his legend grew, and he took his place among the greats.

We will present hits and deep cuts that span his amazing career in loving tribute to a legend who is still building his legacy today. We will take the stage at the fabulous Beverly Art Center this Friday, August 17th, to bring his music to all our South Side fans - but Northsiders, don't despair, you will have a chance to catch this show in a festival atmosphere at the Skokie Backlot Bash on the following Friday, August 24th.  Both shows are all-ages so skip the sitter and bring the kids along.  You can't lose!
