At long last, this December Tributosaurus will re-visit a show we have only done once, in 2005. It was December then too, and the previous month's Turkey Bowl games had left Curt Morrison with broken ribs and Chris Neville with a broken ankle - but we soldiered through, and it was glorious. We got scared off for a while - we know that somewhere Art Garfunkel had cursed us, but we are no longer afraid - we are emboldened.
This is the perfect show to usher in the holidays. Classic melodies and beautiful harmonies that we all know so well, they are part of our DNA. This is music that speaks to you, your parents, your children, and everyone in-between and beyond. Their lyrics are insightful and universal, and still carry meaning today. We will focus only on the pair, no solo material (Paul has had his own show a few times now), but in this case that is not a hardship at all.
From the thoughtful ballads to the joyful folk-rock anthems, from the introspective narratives to the explorations of New York City, we will do it all. We have a killer lineup of players to bring this delicately and specifically arranged music to life for you, and we cannot wait. This one is a pleasure from start to finish, and you do not want to miss it.
So come on out and celebrate the holidays with its through this incredible music - see you there!
