For the third year running, Tributo reaches out to the legions of XTC fans - take heart, you are not forgotten. XTC was a ground-breaking band, and their infectious brand of melodic hyperactive pop stands alone - they were true innovators. Their songs are complex and simple, hard to play and easy to listen to - all at once. When we took on this band 2 years ago, we were surprised at the depth of their catalog, and we received emails from tons of XTC fans all over the country afterwards lamenting that they did not get a chance to see it, so we made it an annual event as part of our Signature Series. The first two were basically the same set, but this year, we're doing almost all new material (with a few favorites returning). Once again we will be joined by a group of guests who really love and appreciate this band, including Dag Juhlin, Jeff Freling, Steve Frisbie, and more - whatever it takes to recreate the sound of XTC's unique production style. We know that XTC is often classified as a "niche" band, and we know a lot of our fans are unfamiliar with their songs. We invite all of you to check out some music that will surprise you and may end up on your iPod before you know it. This show is a lot of fun, and very high energy, so come on out and dance - you'll love it!
