ENCORE: HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME (Sly & the Family Stone)

Remember that band you kept hearing on your way to school in your mom’s station wagon? You know, the one with the great melodies, the impossibly high vocals, and the featured piano parts? If you thought of Air Supply, please stop reading, delete this e-mail and never come to one of our shows again.

No, I mean Supertramp. Yeah, those British guys (yes, the high singer is a guy) whose tunes refused to leave your head for all of 1984. They were much more than Breakfast in America, and it’s time you delved. We’ll help.

Join us this Wednesday as Tributosaurus becomes Supertramp, for 2 shows filled with horns, live strings, piles of vocals, a full-on keyboard armada, and lots of great songs. We’ll embrace our inner musicologist, stretching from the prog-rock beginnings to the fully orchestrated pop mastery. Fear not, we’ll do all the hits, and the great Steve Frisbie rejoins us to show you the furthest expanses of his range.

Tributosaurus becomes Supertramp
